These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and InterviewAIQ ("InterviewAIQ", "we", "us") governing your use of the InterviewAIQ website, desktop application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
InterviewAIQ is software that provides real-time transcription of conversations and AI-generated answer suggestions, together with related features such as session context (company, job description, resume), screenshot-based question analysis, and saved transcripts. The Service is a preparation and assistance tool. AI-generated content is produced automatically and is provided for your reference only.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One account per person; accounts and credits are personal and non-transferable.
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service. Interviews, examinations, assessments, and hiring processes are governed by the rules of the organizations that run them and by the laws of your jurisdiction. Before using the Service in any live setting, it is your responsibility to confirm that such use is permitted by:
InterviewAIQ does not authorize, encourage, or condone any use of the Service that violates the above. If a particular use is prohibited by a rule that applies to you, you must not use the Service in that setting.
Audio capture and consent. The Service transcribes audio from your microphone and your device's system audio. Laws on recording or intercepting conversations differ by country and state, and many require the consent of one or all participants. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required by applicable law before using the Service during any conversation.
You also agree not to: (a) resell, sublicense, or share access to the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the desktop application except where such restriction is prohibited by law; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or attempt to access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide; (d) use the Service to violate the rights of any person, including privacy and intellectual-property rights; or (e) use the Service to create a competing product.
AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are solely responsible for everything you say, write, or submit in any interview or assessment, including any statement based on a suggestion from the Service. Do not present AI-generated claims about your skills or experience as your own unless they are true. We make no promise that using the Service will result in any job offer, interview outcome, or other result.
We may offer a one-time free demo session (currently 10 minutes) to verified accounts. The demo is provided as-is for evaluation, may require email verification, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the desktop application and to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your own content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your resume and job descriptions); you grant us a license to process that content solely to provide the Service.
The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI), speech-to-text providers (e.g., Deepgram), payment processors, and hosting providers. Their availability affects the Service, and your content may be processed by them as described in our Privacy Policy. InterviewAIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zoom, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Slack, or any other video-conferencing provider; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the value of your unused purchased credits; if we terminate for your breach of Section 4, unused promotional credits are forfeited and refunds of purchased credits are at our reasonable discretion except where a refund is required by law.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSCRIPTIONS OR AI SUGGESTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, TIMELY, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR SITUATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES (INCLUDING LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES), REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR LOSS OF DATA; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, including any violation of laws, third-party platform terms, or the rules of any organization described in Section 4.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or in-product notice). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts at the registered place of business of InterviewAIQ shall have exclusive jurisdiction except where the consumer-protection law of your place of residence grants you mandatory rights or a different forum.
